Padre Cícero's miraculous prayer to protect from envy
It is said that Father Cícero Romão Batista was born in Brazil, in Ceará, in 1844. He died in 1934, leaving behind him a vast work of charity and kindness to all who knew him. Although he was not canonized, he became well known for his acts of charity, having gained the devotion of the Brazilian people, and not only. He is popularly considered Saint (as for example Dr. Sousa Martins or Father Cruz, in Portugal), believing that his prayer is able to attract true miracles and to ward off the evils of envy and evil eye, protecting us against who does not love us.

And the bonds of satan.

O Holy Virgin Mary
When the dawn breaks
Enlighten me the next day by brightening the day.
I stand up and give myself to God and the Virgin Mary.
For the sword of Saint George to be armed
and with the milk of the Virgin Mary, breastfed;
that my arms may not be weak,
nor my blood shed
By the hands of the enemy.
I want to be free of the dangers
in my house together with my dear family.
In the name of his five wounds,
Jesus Christ of Nazare
Heed my requests
and deliver me from all evil,
